too late for this year's tree?

Via Free People's blog, these adorable fabric trees and garland would make charming holiday decorations, not to mention use those fabric scraps I keep around because I know *eventually* I'll find a use for them! The directions to create these are from The Small Object - fun little website! Our real tree (more on that to come!) is about at the end, the needles are falling off in handfuls, so it might be too late to add anything this year-but I think these will be at the top of my holiday to-do list next year!
