One of my coworkers introduced me to Heath Ceramics. We saw some of their pieces at Hudson Home in downtown KC a week or two ago. After looking around on the company's website, I'm really impressed - not only with their amazing ceramics - but just the kind of company it is. Started in the mid 1940s, they have strong environmental convictions and goals. Their products are designed to be classic pieces you'll have your entire life. They said they like to think of themselves as the 'farmers market' option for ceramics and tile.
