camera help!

I'm having a complete brain freeze. There's a camera out there that takes very old school-looking photos. Its not digital, possibly has special film. A few months ago I read an article or something about it and saved it...and its nowhere to be found. Any ideas?

Diana Lomo? I got mine at Urban Outfitters, Paper Source has it too. I've never used it. Film is a little pricey and was hard to find for me.

i'd guess either a holga or a diana. i have a holga and really like it.

She's crafty, and she's just my type. said...

I third the Diana. I had to go to a specialty camera store, and even then, they said, "you want WHAT kind of film?!" I think it cost around $9 for 12 exposures.
Then I had to send it out to be developed thru a website (http://www.coopersimaging.com/) which was about $14. I thought it was strange living in a major metro area (SF) and could not find one place to develop the film. Anyway. Result: only one semi-good shot. kinda disappointing. But I'll try again... the camera itself is cute on my shelf, anyway :)

I'd agree that it's probably a Lomo. They're readily available on FredFlare.com
