an environmental story

I've posted about Bella Figura before - and I know you've seen them on many wedding blogs lately. But I received and email from them about their environmental story and I just love it - and want to share it.

"In brief, we are 100% wind-powered and carbon neutral. We donate 1% of sales to environmental causes via 1% for the Planet. We do things for our employees like subsidize a 20-week Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership with a local organic farm, because we believe our food shouldn't have to travel 1,500 miles to reach us We use a luxuriously thick 100% cotton paper made from reclaimed fibers; this paper was created exclusively for us by a historic European paper mill. They have such gorgeous stuff, it's fabulous to hear about some of their background and what they're doing for the environment - I definitely recommend a visit to their website!
