Please stop sending me emails advertising your new Spring line. In case you don't know, it is January and its flipping cold. And I'm still ok with that. In fact I just bought a new pair of boots and I'd appreciate it if you would not rub it in my face that there are only a few solid months of boot season left. Am I looking forward to Spring? You bet. But not when its three months away. Let me sit and shiver without the teasing.

I am always torn this time of year- between being excited for spring weather (and clothes!) and not wanting winter to end too soon. This has only happened since I've lived with milder winters. In high school, spring never came soon enough (which when we were lucky was the beginning of April!)
I really feel the same way come fall with the J.Crew catalog... it makes me long for weather in which I can don boots and sweaters, and in actuality, it is still 80 degrees outside!
