the anatomy of a saturday

Another peachy keen saturday.
Ingredients:

First hit up a huge vintage/thrift shop with one on of my best buddies. ReRuns warehouse
has a room for each decade. We loved the 60s room, where we each found two skirts (one black wool pencil skirt and one pleated navy number for me). My friend found an adorable sweater dress in the 70s - and an amazing purse that I will forever drool over. I almost bought a white 80s leather jacket...still wondering if I made the right decision leaving that little guy behind.

The we went over to ReRuns boutique shop, which is where they keep the more expensive goodies. After a few photo shoots in the dressing room (hello matching metallic shorts and 80s blue rocker dresses) I spent most of my time over the jewelry counter where I discovered this pin - it was love at first sight. I've never worn a pin, need to research some outfit ideas...

Next up? ... Banana Republic haha.

Then a very long nap!

We had fabulous intentions to head to this late night jazz club. But changed our minds - and ended up playing wii for a few hours (me drinking my favorite champagne out of a mason jar booyah). Basically a lovely evening.

.
Also I saw this on a bulletin board at some point and thought it was funny.

Sounds like a fantastic Saturday! I want to be a better vintage fashion shopper... I think I lose patience, get overwhelmed too quickly, which is weird since I can spend hours pouring over vintage home goods to spot a treasure (and the same goes for the racks of Forever 21!)

Love the champagne from the mason jar.
