road trip

We trekked through the midwest this weekend for a friend's wedding. Had a celebratory dinner with my sister and her fiance- and started scouting the farm for wedding setups. Then had the best time giggling for hours with good friends and dancing the night away.

A few shots from the road. Living in the city now, its amazing how much more I appreciate the beauty of this big open sky and beautiful green hills. The quiet and simplicity.

...and whats a road trip without rootbeer floats?
I hope you had a great weekend! Lets hope this is a quick week :)

how funny! i have not had a rootbeer float in years! and just yesterday i had one for the first time in so long. then i come here and find this. :)

made me smile.

your photos of the country are beautiful. i get to see this often. one of the reasons i love the midwest.

the wedding plans sound exciting! my best friend's sister had her wedding out in the country on a farm and the bridesmaids all wore cowboy boots with there pretty navy blue knee length dresses. the flowers were wild flowers that looked like they were straight out of a country meadow. it was one of the most gorgeous weddings i ever saw. the reception was in a barn. it sounded so magical.

happy wedding planning!
