Went to the Queens Rocket show tonight and loved it. Although it was men's fashion, my friend and I commented on more than one item that we'd like to have for ourselves (some amazing vests in particular). The show was very theatrical - they did an 'S' shaped runway that I really liked, it gave everyone a chance to see the garments from a few different angles.
Almost as fun as the show was the people watching beforehand - definitely a crowd with great style taking some really fun risks. Saw the most gorgeous dress and drooled over it for a while before overhearing her tell someone she found it at a disabled vets thrift shop. sick with jealousy.
Lovely way to spend a Sunday evening- saw a great designer and got totally inspired by the spectators.

That looks awesome...I love any kind of fashion show and mens clothes=man candy. Just sayin. :)
Sounds like a fantastic way to spend a Sunday night!
Wow .. some serious attitude there! Love the S, like you said kinda of handy to get a good look.
Lucky you,

oh i do like men's wear.
looks pretty interesting.
yessssssssssssss! these clothes look rad, and should be made for women, too!
and the s runway? BRILLIANT!
Amazing!
Cool...that looks like like so much fun. nice to watch men for a change, its usually always about the ladies. god, i'm jealous. we have nothing of the sort around here.
Sounds fun!
We should definitely go thrift shopping together sometime soon... I have some great spots I could show you and I promise the prices are a hundred times better than Reruns (even though they DO have great stuff, just saying).
Sounds like I should have been there shooting for TCC!

COOOOOLLNESS!!! It looks all very theatrical and "other world-ly".
I second Jill Pilgrim's comment!
I love clothes like this that can look equally great on men OR women. Wish I could have been there!
