quiet

The fashion show on Friday was a fabulous success. My legs and feet are still sore as if I ran a marathon - just from hopping around for 16 hours setting up/through the show/the after party etc. But a success! I can't wait to post more pictures - but in the meantime a teaser of my co-chair and I welcoming everyone to the show.
.
.
In high school I started to realize that I had a big issue with the day(s) after a large event that I had looked forward to. The first time was when I had a big group of classmates over camping. Prepared for weeks and had such a great time. But the next morning I went out to clean up...and I can still remember this overwhelming sadness. Which seems so silly. It was just such an extreme change, to be surrounded by all of your friends and noise and commotion...and then silence. And this thing you've looked forward to...all done.
.
That's how I've felt the rest of this weekend. This big event I've looked forward to and prepared for...all of the sudden its very quiet. I'm not good at not having a project.
.
But at the same time I'm completely exhausted.

it's like when I used to do model united nations, after the conference we used to suffer "PCD" : POST CONFERENCE DEPRESSION!

I find holidays like Christmas are like that too..our trip to Rome...there is a buildup, it happens and then its like what the? What happened? Its gone.

oh and antm...my fav is Nicole, I love her look and her HAIR..awesome. plus she doesn't want to get into the drama, so that's pretty respectable too. She looks high fashion to me. you got a fav?
I also liked the oddness look of bambi girl rachel, but she's gone..womp womp..I'm one for the odd looking models, generic is so boring.

I know exactly how you feel though for me it is more to do with big/small spaces filled with people and then the next day them being empty - the loneliness really sinks in and you feel deflated. Don't worry, you'll be okay - basically it is an incentive to start organising the next project! xxx

I think we can all relate in a sense.. Just means you'll have to start another fabulous project!

I'm glad to hear it was a success!

Hmm... that's a new way of thinking about it! Usually I just re-play everything, over & over. Fun events always go by so fast. :)

Can't wait to see more pictures!

I always get that feeling after a vacation is over or after the holidays. Sometimes it's hard for me to shake too!
