Husband and I couldn't resist dragging our sore selves down the street for a few cocktails and to see Where the Wild Things Are. Definitely a childhood favorite for both of us.
I can't even describe how beautiful and well done the movie is. Definitely lived up to the months of hype and gorgeous teaser images. Highly recommend it!

As I live in the UK I have to wait to see it still!!
I'm excited to see it now after hearing a good review... the trailer for it looks amazing as does the music in it.

moving is the worst! Good for you both for taking some time to relax.
I'm dying to see the movie...I have a 4 year old, do you think it's too intense for that age? I've heard mixed reviews.
Yay...I think I might go tonight!

We went to see the movie this afternoon. It definitely lived up to the hype. So so good.

Can I tell you that although I adored the cinematography, soundtrack and overall beauty of this movie, I was so disappointed in the actual dialogue? I just felt like it jumped everywhere and at times made absolutley no sense. I mean, I guess I should've expected that considering the actual book is only like, 8 sentences long. But still, I was just surprised with how empty it felt at times. You can kill me now.
Yay - I can't wait to see it!
