sunflowers

.
I used wholesale flowers for an event this week and they arrived a day early. Which meant a frantic trip home to trim/un-net 450 sunflowers and get them into water.
.
Which also meant my living room was pleasantly filled with 450 sunflowers for a day.
.
I hope you have a fabulous weekend! I'm off to a baby shower (where I will ooo and aww with everyone else while secretely thinking 'now what on earth do you use that for?!') then some vintage shopping and a birthday party!

I had to laugh at your baby shower comment. One of my best friends gave birth yesterday, and I have 3 more that are pregnant... so I find myself thinking that a lot!

So perfect. I'd love to have hundreds of sunflowers in my house, everyday. I'm so much happier when we have flowers at home :)

How fun to have had all those sunflowers to enjoy for a day. This also reminded me that I'm not sure if I ever saw the photos from your event last fall (with the paper cranes and birds of paradise? I think that's what they were...) Did I? Did you post them? Now I can't remember.
