weekends are nice

I hope you had a great weekend - only 4 more days until the next one!

I had a few holiday parties and managed to squeeze in a trip to Lawrence for some vintage shopping, watch Up (so cute!) and see a few episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm (added to the 'watch this more often' list).
.
.
I saw this quilt in Sarah's shop in Lawrence - must learn how to make one. New project! and yummy hummus.
And a little what i wore while running around...

.

1. (blurry photo - but fit the cold blurry weather) Gap jeans, Shane&Shawn boots, JCrew thrifted jean jacket, thrifted {fake} fur vest, F21 hat
2. Holiday party! My mother's 1970s coat, Suzi Chin dress, Shane&Shawn shoes
3. And back to the grind...Joe's jeans, American Eagle blazer, thrifted Oh Deer shoes, F21 tshirt, F21 scarf, thrifted {fake} fur vest

Other than the blurriness, the pictures look good. I wish I had a nice scarf like in the last one.

By wearing fur (even if it's mom's) you're saying it is ok for animals to be skinned alive for fashion.
Also, many fake fur has actually been found out to be real.

Yes, these cute, friendly animals are skinned alive for ignorant and selfish individuals who call it fashion.

Take the step to protect these animals from suffering and read this:

Thank you.

Sounds like a nice weekend! That quilt is gorgeous! I just saw something similar at Anthropologie. I'm kind of inspired to make one, too!

And as usual, loving your cute outfits! xo.
