im old and i procrastinate and i like pretty things

On getting old:
1. My friend and i are chatting the other day (on facebook, because we're really hip) and she asks 'have you noticed more wrinkles when you wake up in the morning around your eyes?' and I'm like 'just in the morning? you mean YOURS GO AWAY?!'

2. Anyone elses dreams crushed this week when Simon said that the cutoff for American Idol is 28? Husband was more so than I. The reality is that neither of us can sing and I wouldn't want to be on American Idol. But still, the door is a-closing. What if I wake up in a few months with a sudden magical ability?! Ah who are we kidding, that magical talent is obviously going to be breakdancing.
.
On procrastinating:
1. My Christmas cards are finished. I'm mailing them today. Dead serious.
.
On pretty things:
1. Here you go. Happy weekend lovers.

Nice job on the Christmas cards. Its nice to know that your card will be the only one in someone's mail box, not to be competing with anyone else's. I think your on to something. =)

Wow, that post title sounds exactly like me. I don't necessarily think late Christmas cards are bad. At least you send them!
