I like daybeds too. They always looks so nice in rooms. And window seats. A kitchen with a nice window seat is definitely on my wish list for some point in my life!
i love this space. and although daybeds totally make me think of the rickety metal framed couch substitutes popularized in the 90s, i really like this one. it's almost like a chaise -- something on my own "someday-furniture list",
this is an excellent daybed. and i agree with rachel, that is exactly what i picture when i think of daybed, those cheesy ugly metal ones..but this one totally rocks, i wish i was on it right now..love the color too.
We were in Jamaica last Spring and they had the most AMAZING outdoor daybeds sprinkled all around the resort. Dark, chunky, hand-carved wood frames with fluffy, white-white linens, backed with brightly hued, island colored pillows. Oh My!
