firming face cream : cold plasma review

After the Cold Plasma giveaway I held this summer, Perricone sent me a sample of their well-known anti aging face cream to review and I was excited to see what the hype was about. According to Perricone, this firming face cream as "helps correct the ten most visible signs of aging: wrinkles, enlarged pores, dryness, redness, discoloration, uneven skin tone, impurities, loss of firmness, loss of smoothness, and loss of radiance." As someone in my late twenties, I haven't noticed a lot wrinkles or loss of firmness yet BUT uneven skin tone and enlarged pores? Absolutely.

To be honest, my first thought when it arrived was that it was a small amount for such a hefty price tag. However I quickly realized that a small dab goes a looong way and this little pot will last much longer than I thought. While I thought it had a slight scent, I did not notice the fish scent I've read in other reviews. Overall impression was just peachy.

But let's get to the goods. I typically have pretty dry skin and I thought this was a great moisturizer. My face felt well hydrated and smooth all day without being oily at all. I did notice a small amount of reduction in uneven/redness, maybe not as significant as I had hoped, but I'm hoping it continues to get better over time with use. Unfortunately I did not notice a change in my pore size at all which was one of the factors most important to me.

All in all, a great moisturizer. If that's what you're looking for I would definitely recommend it. If you're considering this product primarily for the pore reduction/unevenness correction I would not. I will let you know if I see any other results as I use it more.

Graces Birdcage received a free sample of Cold Plasma from Perricone MD, this is my honest review.

i'm so stoked i won this giveaway, i've really liked this product so far! i'm only 23 so i don't need it for the wrinkles, but my mom always suggested using anti-aging products at a young age. (she did when she was really youmg, and she doesn't have a wrinkle on her face to this day, so i'm definitely following her advice ;)) i have horribly dry skin, and while the dryness is still a problem, it's not as bad as it was - i'm hoping it gets better as time goes on. i like how soft my skin feels when i use it, and i haven't noticed a fishy smell, either.
