peachy

I always thought it would be really cool to base a wedding around colors from a peach. A big pile of peaches in a glass bowl with some Stephanotis blooms tucked in between for centerpieces? Bridesmaids dresses could be a combination of peach, warm purples and golds. There's such a variety of colors that all blend together so beautifully in a peach. And it would smell delicious! This isnt the most cohesive board, but I like the direction.

It's funny that with my own wedding days away, I'm creating inspiration boards for this imaginary wedding. Fabulous use of time:)
Lots of peaches photo here. Flower arrangement here. Bike photo from Jessamyn Harris. Invitation from Hammerpress. Cake featured on Rebecca Thuss. Art Nouveau bookmark from here. Brides dress from JCrew.

What a stunning collection of photos! At first I was like, "peach?" Um...YEAH...PEACH! Would definitely make for a very warm and elegant scheme. Nicely done!

Good luck with your wedding! And, of course, pre-CONGRATULATIONS!

SERIOUSLY!? we are the same person. This IS my wedding. (except for the bridesmaids... I originally told them to carry a peach while shopping for their dresses.. yep, they sorta revolted. Now they are wearing black, which technically IS a color on a peach.) Peach centerpieces.. check! orangey goldy warm tones, check! I had so many vendors look at me like I was an alien when I said my theme was based on a peach. Not the crayola color peach (ech, no), but a real peach.
