wedding photos

Finally! There are so many fabulous photos to choose from, I'm having a hard time. I've picked 10 of my favorites. I think I'll email a bunch over to the gals at Elizabeth Anne Designs and see if they can make more sense of them. I keep trying to organize them but I think I'm over-organizing them and not telling the story right:) If that makes sense?

First up I have to introduce our photographer. Lynn and my mother met in college and remained best friends ever since. I've known her my whole life and when we got engaged it was a no-brainer that we'd have her do our wedding pictures! She's had her photography studio, Special Effects Photography, in Wyoming since 1989. It was great to work with someone that knew us and was so close to everyone! She had her daughter bring another camera along as we took pictures-what a great idea! While we were posing she caught lots of candid moments and detail shots. If you're in the Wyoming/Colorado/Utah area I highly recommend giving Lynn a call!

Without farther ado...

The last picture is my favorite. It's so classic! You two could be put in almost any time period and you would still look amazing.

Ohhh.... these are so great. I remember your style me pretty board ages ago, and it all turned out even better then that. Lovely!

Well, Alissa...well done! You look wonderful and, as many have pointed out, the look is so classic that you'll be happy with these photos decades from now I am certain.

And on a personal note...I APPLAUD you for picking lovely dresses for your bridesmaids! A spot on choice! And I've seen many a lovely bride go horribly wrong in this department...so kudos to you! :)

And a long overdue "CONGRATULATIONS!"

I love love love those bridesmaid dresses! Our colors are pewter and what I like to call sunshine :) and they are absolutely perfect, and totally wearable again. Can I ask a random question though? I don't know if this is tacky to ask but... :) How much were they? I hate how they never post prices for wedding stuff, and would like to know if they are totally out of budget so I can stop dreaming and move on to something more practical for my girls :)
