I'm thinking I'm going to sell my wedding dress.
The thing is I liked my dress, I really did. I was not drooling, falling over in love with it, but it was lovely and I liked it. The seamstress messed it up (don't get me started) and it was insanely uncomfortable - but whatever. I liked it.
The way I see it, I'm not going to wear it again. My daughter (not that I have one currently, but just saying) will not want to wear it either. I'm going to keep my veil - it would be cool if she wore that. But the dress would most likely sit in a box in my closet for the rest of my life.
I'm thinking it'd be nice to sell it - and with that $ buy some fabulously classic thing that I will wear a lot for the rest of my life. And every day when I put on that [insert fabulously classic item here] I'll think of my wedding day.
Thoughts? Suggestions for good websites to sell it on? Ones to avoid?

I've seen lots of wedding gowns on craigslist. Never sold anything on there before... but it's always worth a shot! And there's always Once Wed.
Hope that helps!

I sold mine on preownedweddingdresses.com, it sold in only 4 days so it's an idea. I don't know what your dress brand/size is, but mine was the standard bridal 10 and Vera, so there is usually a bit of demand. I priced mine for half of its original cost though, which I'm sure, contributed to it's fast sale. I also listed on eBay, and got a lot of offers from there.
DEFINITELY sell on OnceWed.com. You will LOVE the site, the blog, become addicted and never turn back!
