bare minerals

I ditched my year(s) old drugstore makeup and bought a bunch of Bare Minerals this weekend. I've used some of their eyeshadow before but never the whole system. Loved the trial the chic did at the store - but a little weary of trying it myself.
I was a little motivated when I found this website where you can look up products and their toxic levels...and the moisturizer I've used for 9 years? 7 out of 10 on the toxic level. Pretty awesome right? Time to get something clean.

Have you tried Bare Minerals before? Thoughts? Advice?

I tried it years ago when it first came out. I have super oily T Zone and I found that for some reason it did not help my oily ness, but some people say it did wonder's, I guess it was just my skin.

i use Sheer Cover, which is very siimilar, and love it! My Mom's used Bare Minerals for quite a while though. I feel like I use a LOT less makeup in general though which is great. dang, will have to look at that site, i'm scared!

Been using this stuff for over 2 years. I absolutely love it. I could never ever ever got back to the pastey wet stuff I used to dump all over my face. The best part is, in the summer, your make up doesn't melt off and slide off your face like hot butter.

Will you share the website where you looked up the toxic levels?
Thanks!

I have used this for a few years now and love it... It doesn't make me break out in acne... although it is VERY messy. Stuff is all over the place!

I think this is the site: http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/

I have used BM for about 4 years and it occasionally causes cycstic acne due to the main ingredient - bismuth oxychloride which contains lead
