Saw this photo shoot from Vogue Italia April on Fashion Copious - all about digging into your own closet and making items work in new ways. It was an interesting shoot - but this one is definitely my favorite. The colors, textures... I want to be in this room playing with all of this mess!Any items in your closet you've tried to reinvent?

yes! i think it's so important to reinvent your closet on a monthly basis. make an inspiration board and then re-work pieces you already have to capture the same effects. plus, it's fun!
those shoes are way too cool, especially the first couple on the left.
i need to re-work my closet big time, i feel like i don't like anything i own anymore but find it so hard to throw out stuff that I've really liked in the past.

I try to reinvent anything I get bored of, but then i get lazy half the time and nothing will be done. I'm glad most of my stuffs are basics and throwing different stuffs together can get different looks easily.
Oh yes, I have a lot of stuff due for reinvention! It's a fun challenge to issue oneself with- not to mention easy on the hip pocket, which always helps!
I am half way through painting a pair of wedges black... hahaha x
