wtf shoes

Ok, so I go to piperlime to check out the latest and greatest in shoes. and I found myself remarking things like 'wtf...seriously...bleah' things along those lines.
.
What is with this trend of boots with no toes? Maybe somewhere there is a magical climate where your ankles are comfortable covered in woven black suede while your toes sway about in the open air. but it is not my climate. Toeless boots annoy me.
.
And these are just downright ugly.
Don't be angry piperlime, I typically sing your praises.
We all make bad choices sometimes.

Yeah the no-toe boot is a bit odd ....although Topshop have this kinda cool, black lace-up version ...but the giant heel puts me off!

Oh and I'm not Charlotte on Are you there blog?. :)

LOL!!! Sorry, I didn't really explain that properly!!!!! I write it, but it's fictional (well sorta), so it's not actually about my life (although Charlotte does bear SOME resemblance to me)....it just contains some familiar anecdotes of mine! ;)

hahaha - I never understand the whole tall boots thing with a little small hole for a toe or two - what's the point?!

do you ever read the blog Sea of Shoes (www.seaofshoes.com)? The bottom ones are so very Jane.

Not my taste, but you know, to each their own.
