Wearing two of my favorite vintage finds this week. One is the trusty blue wool blazer - just slightly too small in just the right way. The little moth holes on one sleeve somehow add to the character. I can't believe how many times I've worn this $8 find - and will continue to until it crumbles!
When I can't make up my mind on an item while shopping I always leave it - and if I can't get it out of my head for the next few days then its time to go back. This green dress was just like that! It is actually a vintage dress from a Kansas City Department store in the late 60s/early 70s. The amazing part is that it is a set - along with the dress (that has pockets!) came a matching belt, matching coat with an additional belt and a silk scarf that matches the lining of the coat. So I find all of this in perfect condition that fits like a glove for $25. And I walked away! All because the color scared me. But then I couldn't stop thinking about it and thinking about it... so I rushed back in a week or two later and thank my stars it was still tucked in the back. I don't think I'll ever wear the dress and coat together - its a little much on the green - but they work as separates and the color is growing on me. Like moss. get it? because it looks like...
Left: top vintage/thrifted, blazer vintage/thrifted, Joes Jeans, Oh Deer! shoes, vintage bird broch
Right: dress vintage, trench vintage from etsy, belt was my mothers, Oh Deer! shoes and F21 bag

Nice finds! They look great. I hear you about the weather. L.A. has been fabulously like fall lately, which I usually miss.
Have a great weekend!
I love love love the green dress. It suits you so much! How lucky that it was still there when you went back - that never happens to me!
you always look so chic and classy, dear!
Wonderful! I'm a sucker for a great blazer and that shade of green.
